Marathon Weekend

Welcome to 26th Annual Hatfield McCoy Marathon! 

The course record for the marathon was broken at 2:33 by Hector Falcon on June 8, 2024! 

We want everyone to experience everything Hatfield McCoy during race weekend on June 13-14, 2025. All races on Saturday, June 14, 2025. 

Choose between the Marathon, Blackberry Mountain Half Marathon, River Road Half Marathon, Jeannie Rivard 5k, and Kid's Run.

Below, we have more information for race weekend.

Packet Pickup/Registration/Expo - Friday, June 13, 2025

June 14, 2025, 2-8 PM
All Participants-Belfry High School (27678 US 119 Belfry, Kentucky) 

Preregistered participants may pick up their bib and shirt until 8 PM. Last minute registrants may register on-site or on their mobile phone devices. Volunteers will help assist you in finding your bib#. You should receive an email from us with your designated bib #. You can also inform us about which race you are racing and your last name.

Runners should receive their bib, pins, race shirt, and meal ticket.

Pasta Dinner: 4pm-8pm
Devil Anse and Randall McCoy will be there to greet everyone

* Race day bib pickup there at United Methodist Church at the start line until 7:10am
* No Race day registration
* Finish line address (101 E 2nd Ave, Williamson, WV 25661)
* Race begins at 7:30am

***River Road Half Marathon*** 
1) Meet in front at the Truist Bank in Downtown Williamson (address - 250 E 2nd Ave, Williamson, WV 25661)
2) Be there at 6:20am 
3) Bus leaves for Matewan, WV at 6:30am 
4) Look for long yellow school buses 

***Marathon, and Blackberry Half Marathon***
1) Buses will travel through Downtown Williamson stopping at these locations (5am - 6:45am)

* Meet at the Matewan Depot Replica Welcome Center and Museum, (Address - 328 WV-49, Matewan, WV) 
* Be there at 5:45am

* Parking is NOT permitted at the race start for Downtown Williamson and Downtown Williamson
* All participants should park in or near the town of Williamson and Matewan and catch a shuttle to Food City (Marathon/Blackberry Mountain Half) and Matewan City Hall (River Road Half)

***Shower location***

* Shuttles will also take runners to the shower location. Meet at Hurley Drug Store in Downtown Williamson.
